Based in Dundee, Scotland, Serious Parody is a highly ambitious development company supported by industry veterans who have run major games studios and entertainment businesses for over 20 years. We are very lucky in that we have the finances and freedom to build the games we want to build and at the same time we are keen to work with new partners, to help them bring their visions to life. |
We have a major console game in the works along with several smaller projects on other platforms and we're currently looking for highly talented animators and experienced programmers to help us make our mark on the industry. Scottish Development International has backed Serious Parody’s plans to spend approximately one million pounds building out the company’s games portfolio. The money raised largely through the company’s private investors along with £230,000 from Scottish Enterprise’s Regional Selective Assistance grant, will go towards establishing a Dundee based office and the creation of 18 new jobs. |
